The ceremony, held at the historic Adwa Victory Museum, showcased Ethiopia's commitment to advancing its sovereign development model while fostering international cooperation. Prosperity Party Youth Wing President Aklilu Tadesse announced that this initiative would expand to seven nations, demonstrating Ethiopia's growing role as a leader in environmental restoration.
"Ethiopia's experience in restoring degraded lands is exemplary," stated Pakistan's Ambassador to Ethiopia, Atif Sharif Mian, acknowledging the revolutionary impact of Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed's vision.

The Green Legacy Initiative, launched in 2019 by Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed as part of Ethiopia's assertive national development agenda, has achieved remarkable success:
